Senior High Ministry
Sabetha First United Methodist Church believes that our youth are a vital part of the body of Christ in the present; not merely the future of the church. We endeavor to create space for our students to develop meaning and to engage in meaningful dreams of what God can do in the world. We actively seek to help our students live into what it means to be a servant church for our community through mission, fellowship, instruction, and love.
Mission and Outreach
The Senior High is working to become mission minded. Our call is not just to grow in faith but to share the love of God.
Fun and Games
With our new meeting space we have Ping-Pong, pool, foosball, snacks and a great opportunity to be together as the body of Christ. Come and join us on Wednesday nights through the school year.
Big Events
Each year we do several Big Events including Aquire the Fire, as well as some short weekend Mission Events. It is great bonding time, learning time, God time and just plan fun time.
Youth Group
Each Wednesday night we gather to learn, grow, praise and build something bigger than ourselves. Youth gather from 6:30 to 7:30 for a meal and lesson.
Mid High Youth Group
Mid High youth group meets alongside WOW from 5:30 PM to 7 PM. Dinner is served from 5:30 to 6 PM. The Mid High Youth Group assists with the worship portion of the program from 6 to 6:30 PM. This is followed by a lesson and fellowship from 6:30 to 7 PM.
